h3. Is Blackboard Sync available for the Vista and CE product lines?

| Unfortunately, because of certain limitations the Vista and CE products, we are not able to make Blackboard Sync available to users of the Vista and CE product lines.

| More specifically, the PowerLinks integration framework doesn't support equivalent course content APIs as the Building Blocks integration framework. Without those course content APIs it is not possible to extract the equivalent data from Vista and CE as can be extracted from the "classic" Blackboard Learning System through Building Blocks. Consequently, synchronization through PowerLinks is not possible at this time.

As customers with the Vista and CE licenses upgrade to Blackboard Learn, Release 9 or later, the Blackboard Sync solution will become available to them. |
