This space provides information about Blackboard Sync for administrators and end users. Blackboard Sync is a solution that lets users receive notifications of changes and updates to their Blackboard Learn™ courses and organizations in external services and devices. There are currently two applications available for end users.

||h2. **UPDATE** Announcing the End of Life of Blackboard Learn for the Apple iPhone™ and iPod touch®||
|Blackboard Learn for the Apple iPhone is no longer available for download from the iTunes App Store. New users are longer able to download or access the app. However the app will continue to function for users with the app already installed on their iPhone or iPod touch. For users with the app already installed on iPhone and iPod touch devices, the app will continue to function or sync with the user’s Blackboard Learn installation until December 31, 2010.

h5. About Blackboard Mobile Learn™
* This application is being replaced by the new Blackboard Mobile Learn™. Blackboard Mobile Learn is a product that allows students and educators to access teaching and learning wherever and whenever they want on mobile devices. Blackboard Mobile Learn extends and enriches the course experience of Blackboard Learn in interactive native mobile applications built for the Apple iPad, iPod touch and iPhone as well as select Android devices, BlackBerry and the Mobile Web.
* Blackboard Mobile Learn is launching in a phased rollout starting with North American Higher Education and North American Professional Education.
* Blackboard Mobile Learn will be available in the K-12 and International markets will be announced in August 2010.
* Blackboard Mobile Learn currently works with Blackboard Learn Releases 8, 9.0 and higher. However, we are investigating the timing and feasibility of bringing it to the CE/Vista and ANGEL platforms.

| !mainScreen.gif|height=380, width=190! | Blackboard Learn for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch is an application that lets users receive notifications of changes and updates to their Blackboard courses and organizations in their iPhone or iPod touch mobile device. These include updates on new Assignments, Course Content, Study Group updates, Community Discussions, even Grades. Currently this application is only available in English and is available for download through the Apple iTunes App Store as of March 26, 2009. *Blackboard Learn for Apple iPhone (version 1.0.1)* is now available for download from the [Apple iTunes App Store|http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=306716518&mt=8] or updating on your iPhone as of July 6th, 2009. This update includes iPhone 3.0 compatibility, enhanced user experience, fixes and clearer error messages.
