Blackboard Sync does access the users' Blackboard Learn system independent of the user, so you may see an increase in the number of hits on your server. However, this increase should not significantly impact performance. Institutions concerned about performance efficiency are encouraged to implement the Blackboard Sync Building Block, as that will reduce the number of requests required by Blackboard Sync.
