In some clustered environments, clicking on the "Properties" button for the Blackboard Sync Building Block returns a "404 File Not Found" error. This is most often due to a problem with Sync Building Block's log4j.properties file. The solution is to replace the existing log4j.properties file with an updated version.

1. Download the updated log4j.properties file here.
2. Install the new log4j.properties file at the following location:
   • /usr/local/blackboard/content/vi/bb_bb60/plugins/Bb-sync/webapp/WEB-INF/config
3. Delete the log4j.watch.properies file in that same directory
4. Set the Sync Building Block to Inactive
5. Set the Sync Building Block to Available again
