From the Author:
“I had two simple goals when I decided to participate in the Blackboard Exemplary Course Program this year. One was to gain experience as a course reviewer and the other was to get feedback for my own course that would allow me to make learning more enjoyable for my students. I made deliberate changes to the course based on design best practices and surveying the students over the past semester. With the assistance of our Sr. Instructional Designer, Sasha Thackaberry, I was able to put the final touches on the organization of the course. When I submitted my course to the Blackboard Exemplary Course Program I simply expected to gain valuable best practices in course design using the program rubric. I’ve gotten that and more. Winning the Catalyst Award has been a great by-product”. ~ Dr. Gillian McKnight-Tutein
